Do Bath Rugs Have Rubber On The Back

I have some very good bathroom rugs the only problem is the rubber non slip backing which is crumbling.
Do bath rugs have rubber on the back. The non slip coating on the back of my bathroom rug set is starting to crack and flake off. On nov 15 2017. Does anyone know if there s a way to rejuvenate these. Rubber backing is great to keep scatter rugs in place but rubber breaks down over time.
